doctors, and community standards used to determine the value of claims and lawsuits. A local lawyer
directory is best place to start any lawyer search, so long as community lawyers offer specialization and
experience equal to, or above, lawyers representing opposing parties.
Most insurance companies retain well qualified lawyers who are approved by their home office, and these
lawyers are well versed in legal practices used in large cities nationwide. A statewide lawyer directory or
nationwide lawyer directory may be a better choice if the local bar does not include several qualified
attorneys who specialize in plaintiff cases.

Few clients are prepared to find, evaluate, and select the most qualified personal injury lawyer. The
